Three decisions, one assembly
Choose the acoustic role, light-control requirement and visual finish separately, then check whether the proposed fabric and lining meet them together. Adding a lining changes the construction and weight; it does not automatically carry across the face fabric’s published acoustic result.
Use colour with the working environment
Screen colours are indicative. Review a physical sample under studio lights, room lighting and daylight where relevant. A camera backdrop needs checks for surface appearance and framing as well as colour.
Design folds and movement
Pencil pleat, wave and double pinch pleat create different forms. The acoustic evidence relates to the installed fullness and cavity, not a guaranteed benefit from the name of the heading. Wave also needs a compatible track and carrier system.
Price the chosen specification
Enter dimensions, panel count, fabric, colour, lining and heading in the configurator. Only eligible cut-metre fabrics can be ordered made to measure. Send the saved specification for a stock check and confirmation of the complete order and any installation requirements.
Evidence & next steps
Use the original manufacturer specifications and test reports for the selected material. The testing section keeps results beside their installation conditions; the document library links to the source PDFs. These guides support specification and do not certify a particular room or installation.
