Wool Serge 800
Heavy wool serge for acoustic applications, black-box stages and masking equipment.
ACOUSTIC CURTAINS
Control sound reflections with a curtain system specified for the room, the fabric and the way it is installed.

ABSORPTION, WITH EVIDENCE
Acoustic curtains introduce absorbent surfaces that can help control reflections and reverberation. The result depends on frequency, coverage, fullness and the space behind the fabric.
Sound absorption and sound insulation are different. An absorption rating does not describe how much sound is prevented from travelling to the next room.

Wool Serge 800 demonstrates why mounting conditions belong beside every performance figure.

*Manufacturer’s “SAC classification” label. These configuration-specific figures are not frequency-band coefficients, noise-reduction percentages or sound-insulation ratings. Original test reports should be checked for the intended installation.
UNDERSTAND THE BUILD-UP
100% fullness means twice the flat fabric width relative to covered track width, before making allowances. It is a construction ratio—not a 100% absorption claim.
A wall cavity is the space between the curtain and the wall. Use the matching tested configuration when selecting performance data.
