CURTAIN ADVICE
Choosing the right studio curtains
Choose studio curtains by room use, acoustic evidence, light control, measurements and track requirements.

Start with the room’s job
Write down whether the room is used for recording, photography, teaching, screening or several of these. Then separate the problems: reflections inside the room, light through a window, views into the space and sound travelling between rooms require different specifications.
Shortlist by evidence
Use the fabric library to compare roll width, mass and the available documents. For absorption, read the fabric, layers, fullness and wall cavity together. A heavier fabric is not automatically better at every frequency, and a class without its installation conditions is incomplete.
Build the whole curtain
Choose total track coverage, finished drop and panel count before estimating quantities. A lining has its own roll width and cutting plan. The final track must accommodate the complete curtain mass, heading, operation and fixing structure.
Confirm before ordering
Request a physical colour sample and check the selected fabric’s care instructions. Use the configurator for a live curtain price, then send the specification for stock availability and order confirmation. Agree any track, installation and delivery requirements in the project proposal.
Evidence & next steps
Use the original manufacturer specifications and test reports for the selected material. The testing section keeps results beside their installation conditions; the document library links to the source PDFs. These guides support specification and do not certify a particular room or installation.
